On Sunday, November 17th Milestone CEO William Wells served as co-instructor for a half-day seminar on Real Estate JV Agreements and Waterfalls sponsored by the Harvard Alumni Real Estate Board.
The seminar, located inside the Hawes building at Harvard Business School, covered the fundamental concepts and rationale governing real estate joint ventures and provided graduate students from Harvard and MIT the opportunity to learn and practice waterfall modeling in excel.
When asked about the experience William Wells said, “As an MIT alumnus it’s always a special privilege to return to Cambridge and it was an honor to be asked to teach some of the brightest students in the world. In this case, it was particularly rewarding to have an opportunity to teach alongside my dear friend Kristen Hunter, who is one of the most intelligent and diligent people I have ever known.” He went on to note that, “It is important to give back to our communities and this was an opportunity to help the future leaders of our field develop the skills necessary to preside over the built environments that will serve the next generation.”
