Milestone Partners is proud to announce it has officially launched its inaugural internship program with the onboarding of Justin Lai
Mr. Lai possesses a diverse real estate acquisition and asset management background across multiple property types. Most recently, Mr. Lai worked at BRIDGE Housing Corporation, a nonprofit affordable housing developer, in their business development group. To expand their west coast portfolio, he underwrote and conducted due diligence on a variety of development and acquisition opportunities. Prior to BRIDGE, he was at Vectra Management Group, a boutique commercial real estate investment firm, where he was involved in all aspects of investment sourcing, closing, asset management, and disposition. Earlier, he worked as a licensed CPA at Deloitte with asset management clients. While at MIT, Mr. Lai intends to deepen his knowledge of real estate finance and development. He ultimately hopes to build and invest in vibrant communities that effectively incorporate technology and environmentally friendly practices.
Mr. Lai was born and raised in Los Angeles and received his bachelor’s degree from UCLA in business economics. In his free time, he enjoys long-distance running, playing basketball, and traveling internationally.
